Voter ID Information from Circuit Clerk Kim Ming

Mississippi voters approved a citizen-initiated Constitutional Amendment on November 8, 2011, which requires eligible voters to present a photo ID before casting a ballot in person at the polls or in a Circuit Clerk’s office.

Circuit Clerk, Kim Ming asks voters to notify her office if:

1.  Your name has changed since last electon.

2.  Your address has changed since last election.

3.  You don't have a valid photo ID.

Your name on the voter roll should match your drivers license or state issued photo ID.

The Circuit Clerk's office will need your signature to make these changes. To cut down on confusion and long lines at the polls, these changes need to be completed prior to May 31, 2014. So if you have had a name or address change or you don't have a photo ID, please stop by the Circuit Clerk's office and do so as soon as possible.

The previous post on the County website has detailed information concerning voter ID. Please contact the Circuit Clerk's Office if you have further questions.
