Registration & Absentee Voting Information

The deadline to register, if you are not already registered, is October 8th. New registrations must be mailed in or done in person.  If you have moved within the county, we ask that you come by the Circuit Clerk office or go online to the Secretary of State's website to update your voter record. The website is www.sos.ms.gov.  Absentee ballots are now available. Absentee voting is not the same as early voting. To qualify to "Absentee Vote", you must have a qualifying reason as to why you need to vote before election day. For example, students at college, work out of town, temporarily or permanently disabled, military, and the list goes on. Please call the Circuit Clerk office at 773-3581 if you should have questions.
