Effective Monday, April 6th at 5:00 P.M. public access to the Winston County Tax Assessor/ Collector’s Office and other areas of the courthouse will be restricted. A sheriff’s deputy will be stationed at the front door. Vehicle tag renewals may be completed by mail or by phone with a debit/credit card. New vehicle purchases may be handled by phone calls to the office. You will be given a cell number or email address to send your title/or title app information for processing.
Real property, personal property, and mobile home taxes may be mailed or paid with debits/credits by phone.
Homestead filing deadlines and personal property rendition filing deadlines have both been extended until May 1st.
