BE IT REMEMBERED that the Board of Supervisors of
Winston County, Mississippi, held a meeting at the Courthouse in the City of
Louisville, Mississippi, at 9:00 am, this the 24th day of July, 2013, the same being duly
noticed and posted to all necessary parties. The Winston County Board of
Supervisors remains in office for the month of July for the examination of tax
rolls.
Present and
constituting the Board were Honorable James “Burr” Warner, District One;
Honorable Luke Parkes, District Two; Honorable Mike Peterson, District Three;
Honorable Gloria Turnipseed, District Four; and Honorable Larry Duran, District
Five. Also present were Honorable Jason
Pugh, Sheriff of Winston County, Honorable Julie Cunningham, Chancery Clerk of
Winston County, Honorable Tax Assessor Larry Woodward, EMA Director Buddy King,
Joseph McCain of the Winston County Journal, Linda Lauderdale of the American
Red Cross, and Tracy McCully of Winston
Web News.
The
Board, having been declared in session at 9:00 am, by Honorable Jason Pugh,
Sheriff of Winston County, Mississippi, with Honorable Mike Peterson, President
of the Board of Supervisors presiding,
proceeded with business as follows, to-wit:

APPROVING 16TH SECTION LEASE FOR LAWRENCE DAILEY
CAME ON FOR CONSIDERATION at
the request of Hal Overstreet of the Louisville Municipal School District,
approval of a 16th Section lease for Lawrence Dailey.
After
discussion and upon said request, Motion was made by Honorable Gloria

Ron Welch. Said check is required to be
paid before August 1, 2013.

E911 SYSTEM

Interlocal Agreement between Winston County and the City of Louisville for the
E911 System, with a correction being made changing “Winston County Attorney” to
“Winston County Board of Supervisors Attorney.”

APPROVING YOUTH COURT CONTRACT WITH ADAPTS ELECTRONIC MONITORING SYSTEM
CAME ON FOR CONSIDERATION at
the request of Youth Court Judge Hugh Hathorn, approval of a contract with
ADAPTS Electronic Monitoring System at a cost of $5.85-$9.50 per day. Cost will
be assessed to the parents of the child who is sentenced in Youth Court to be
monitored.
